Private Tutorship

Private Tutorship – Programme Introduction

Whether you’re tackling a school or university project, working on an EPQ, preparing your IB Extended Essay, or taking your first steps into academic research, Private Tutorship at Oxford Centre for Leadership is designed with you in mind. You’ll receive expert guidance, clear accountability, and personalised support throughout every stage of your research journey.

Research can feel overwhelming at the beginning: Where do I start? How do I find reliable sources? Is my question too broad? How do I bring everything together into a strong final piece? This is where one-to-one mentorship makes a real difference. With the support of experienced mentors, you’ll learn how to define a focused research question, create a clear and structured plan, evaluate academic sources, develop convincing arguments, and present your work with confidence.

LEARN THE OXFORD WAY

Private Tutorship is flexible with options of 8, 12, or 20 weeks and tailored to your current level and goals. Whether you already have a draft that needs refining or you’re starting from a single idea, we’ll work with you to create a realistic and effective roadmap. Each week includes dedicated one-to-one sessions, detailed written feedback, and practical tools to help you stay organised and on track.

By the end of the programme, you’ll have a polished written piece of up to 5,000 words. You’ll also develop essential skills in time management, academic writing, and independent thinking skills that will support your success in school, university, and beyond.
